This is Kayce's friend, Camille. Kayce is 2 months older and they are very excited to see each other everytime. They hold hands when they see each other... it is really cute.

Kayce is doing pretty good with floating

She loves her new tube

Ethan enjoys the shallow end. He loves the water coming up.

if anyone plays WOW.. doesn't he look like he is crafting.

Kayce's last Song N Dance class

Today was a busy day for us. We took the kids to the park right after breakfast, then we went to Kayce's very last Song N Dance class. After class, Chris and I decided to go to the Galleria for some shopping and playtime. We drove round and round looking for a parking spot and finally decided to just park far and walk (you can't just park anywhere in that parking garage with a stroller). While we were getting the kids out of the car and into the stroller, this car pull right next to us from the wrong direction (I really thought she wasn't going to stop). The door opened and it was an old lady (65+ at least), she never made eye contact with us and just walked off. Chris and I looked at each other and looked at this lady's car, we said "is it still running?" After we got the kids settle into the stroller, I rushed over to check to see if the keys were still in it and sure enough it was there. The old lady was getting out of sight so I ran and chased after her. if you have been to the Galleria, you know how many different levels, entrances, stairs and elevators they have. I can't believe I lost a senior. How can I chase down a 2 year old but not a 65+. Chris took the kids to the playground while I continue to search for this lady but I had no luck and finally had to call security to take care of it. So by the time I finished being a good samaritan, the kids were done playing, Ethan wants to eat, Kayce wants to run around and we were ready to go home.

Ethan crawling around on the dance floor and he found his red spot (that is where the dancers suppose to stand).. Ethan said "by the way, can someone kiss my giraffe?"

Pictures from the park

Here is a video of Kayce singing "I love you"

Pictures! Pictures! Pictures!

Can't believe it's been 2 weeks already. Nothing much happened other than the normal playdates, swimming, park, dancing, singing and all motherly duties. here are all the other highlights.

Like Father like Son

Don't they look alike.

A day at home

there are not that many days that the kids and I are just at home hanging out. but when we do, they are in jail. "HELP!"

A new baby

Jennifer Arthur had her baby last week. Ella is doing great. Jake and Lydia get to hold her for the first time.

Park

Kayce loves to swing. it is never high enough for her.

Teething

remotes are great chew toys. he turns on and off the TV and turns up the volume all in his mouth.

Flowers
Kayce and I picked fresh flowers out of our garden. we made bouquets for the sisters in our ward (church).

Fun!

Ethan is enjoying the ride

we went to see a bubble show and Kayce had a great time for the first 20 minutes of it.

Cami and Kayce holding hands walking to the pinic area. isn't that adorable.

Ethan decided that eating is boring and absolutly hates it. he shuts his mouth like Uncle Ian was when he was young.

Our garden is out of control

Our tomato plants are taller than Chris and yet there is still no tomatoes on it. Can someone tell us why? The cherry tomatoes next to them are doing great. - oh yeah, lesson learned for Chris. Read labels before planting. when they tell you plant the squash 4' apart.. they meant 4' not 4".

this week...

HAPPY 4th!!

Swimming with Jonas

We went to visit Jonas and get to go swimming. Jonas and Kayce had a blast, but Ethan found it plain torcher.

Doll
Kayce got her dream come true. Her doll came alive.

I had a video of her pushing him around but I won't post it cause CPS might show up. Arrest me for letting a minor drive with passenger.

Movie
Chris and Kayce had a daughter/father date yesterday. They went to Studio Movie Grill to see Happy Feet. Kayce sat thru the whole movie but the last 10 minutes of it. She was ready to go and told Chris "Home! bye bye Penguins".

4th of July
We had breakfast at church this morning and the kids get to ride their bikes in a parade.
I push Kayce all the way around so I decided it was my turn and she push. Chris couldn't stop laughing and keep reminding me "there is a weigh limit on that"

Ethan was enjoying the fun on the side line with Grandma and his balloon.

Garden

June and I decided to start a garden a few months ago and it turned into a lot (a lot) of work.

Here are some before and now pictures. we have so much to learn ..

Here are the grapes. one is red grapes (Red Flame) and one is green grapes (Thompson Seedless). The one in the middle (which you can't really see) is a survival grape that survived Jakjak attacked (our German Sheperd). We nursed it back to health. It was literally shredded and all that was left was about 5 inches of stick and some roots.

Before and Now

March 23, 2008 & May 5, 2008

June 30, 2008 - it is like a jungle out there. but at least we get to harvest from it and made a whole meal. our tomatoes came in so handy with the salmonella "confusion" right now. Kayce helps water the garden everyday.
